In the rainy season, content like this comes once in a while to fulfill your needs. In this article, we will see many raincoats. Whenever we buy raincoats, two things are very important.
The first thing is that it should protect from rain and water, and the second thing is that the fitting should be good so that even after wearing that plastic garment, you still look a little stylish.
Brand 1: Mind Craft
This raincoat comes in a pouch, which is a good thing. When not in use, you can keep it in the pouch, and it becomes easy to carry. This is a raincoat set, although raincoats also come as jackets.
The waist part has plastic material, no pockets, and the material is polyester with a TPU or plastic coating that prevents water from entering. Branding of Mind Craft is visible on the side, and reflective material has been used.
It comes in a loose fit, which is good as we usually wear it over clothes. If you want a narrow fit, Velcro tapes are provided at the bottom. The fitting and length were good, and overall, it is a good product.
Brand 2: Wild Craft Jacket
This jacket is in navy blue color. It has a hood with good sizing, but no shade in front. Full sleeves are provided. Branding is visible on the left side with reflective material. On both sides, pockets are given with upside-down flaps closed with Velcro so that water slides off and doesn’t enter.
The depth of the pockets is very good. Branding is also on the side and back. It was bought in L size. Elastic at the bottom provides proper fitting. Overall, the product looks finished and basic. It costs ₹100 and is good in terms of brand, product, fitting, and quality.
Brand 3: Internet’s Cheapest Raincoat
It comes in simple packaging. But in reality, the quality feels very cheap and plasticky. It has a hood, full sleeves, and snap buttons. Designed like a long raincoat reaching below the knees. Looks good in pictures but the plastic is very weak and can tear easily. The sleeve elastics are of poor quality.
It feels like a one-time-use raincoat that is usually sold abroad at ₹40–₹50 but here it is sold for ₹250. This should not be purchased.
Brand 4: Renox S2 Go Pro
Renox is popular among bikers. This riding range jacket comes in fluorescent green for better visibility during rain. A black color option is also available. It has a good-sized hood with drawstrings, full sleeves with quality elastic, and stylish branding.
The chain is well designed with a flap and Velcro for protection. Rubberized coating on the zipper makes it waterproof. Lightweight with no extra layering inside, making it easy to wear. Drawstrings are also provided at the bottom. At the back, reflective branding glows at night and ventilation holes are present.
This jacket was bought for ₹1400. A good option for bikers looking for branded, lightweight, and modern rain jackets.
Brand 5: Zeel Premium Rain Jacket
This is the heaviest and most premium rain jacket. The outer material feels strong and heavy. The inside has dual layering for extra protection. Snap buttons and branding are provided at the sides.
The jacket has a unique color-blocking design with blue, black, and orange. A big hood is attached, which can be folded inside the collar. Drawstrings are provided for tightening. Pockets are upside-down, reducing water entry. Sleeves have elastic with Velcro straps for tightening.
The front has double flaps with Velcro and a strong zipper inside. Extra pockets and branding at the back with reflective material are also given. It was bought for ₹100 and feels premium and worth the price.
However, due to heavy fabric, it causes sweating from humidity inside. But if you want the best heavy-duty rain jacket, Zeel is a top option.
Brand 6: Camison
This brand was recommended a lot. The black color was chosen. No side pockets or visible branding. It has an extra inner rubberized layer. The jacket also comes in black with a large hood, normal white zipper, and cut pockets.
The sleeves felt too tight, making it uncomfortable. Branding is on the front and reflective material at the back. Bought for ₹1000, it is not bad but doesn’t justify the price. At ₹700–₹800, it would be a good deal.
Final Suggestion
If you want a stylish and reliable rain jacket, go for Renox, Wild Craft, or Zeel. For a budget option, avoid the cheap internet raincoat.
